Who We Are
Tyco Waterworks UK, part of Tyco Flow Control, services companies and communities throughout the world involved in the water industry. We are committed to bringing high quality products offering value to our customers with uncompromising honesty and integrity. Tyco Waterworks UK is the trading name which incorporates Atlantic Plastics Ltd, Erhard UK & Cast Iron Services (CIS), all based in the UK. It has a rich history of servicing the water industry both in the UK and around the world, with an extensive range of water fittings and valves for a variety of mains and service pipes.

Products Overview
Tyco Waterworks UK offers a comprehensive range of water fittings for all types of mains and service pipes from 16mm to over 2m diameter. The products are well proven over many years of use and, where applicable, materials used comply with BS6920 for use with potable water.

Meter boxes / Meter Valves
An unrivalled range of below ground meter boxes manufactured to WIS 4-37-01 and BS5834 Part 2. Wall mounted Intex meter boxes and stoptap chambers

Couplings / Flange Adaptors
UPE range of wide tolerance and engineered couplings and flange adaptors. End load resistant Superlok fittings for PE pipe and mains repair products.

Plastic ‘Pushfit’ Fittings
Talbot Pushfit end load resistant connections for PE pipe, and adaptors for copper, galvanised iron and lead. Manufactured to WIS4-32-11.

Saddle straps / Ferrules
Flat boss straps, ferrules, combined ferrule straps and self tapping ferrule straps for PE, PVC, Ductile, Cast Iron, Steel, and Asbestos Cement pipe.

Stoptaps / Plugcocks
Range of gunmetal and plastic stoptaps and plugcocks with variety of connection types. Manufactured to BS5433, BS2580 and WIS4-32-04.

Manifolds
4 or 6 port gunmetal manifolds with or without meter housings and shut off devices. Talbot modular plastic manifold accommodates variety of outlets with female or Pushfit connections.

Equilibrium Ball Float Valves
High flow rate Ebco equilibrium ball float valves for working pressures up to 5 bar (full bore valve) or 10 bar (reduced bore), with BSP male threaded or flanged inlets.

Gunmetal Service Fittings
Ebco B gunmetal compression fittings for PE pipe from 20mm to 63mm and for Type A PE-Al-PE barrier pipe. BSP threaded gunmetal fittings from ½” to 2”.

Valves
Wide range of gate valves, air check valves, butterfly valves, pressure control valves and hydrants.

Ductile Iron Fittings (CIS)
Range of flanged ductile iron pipes and fittings from DN50 to DN1600. Full range of Socket & Spigot pipe DN80 to DN1200 and fittings.

History
Tyco Waterworks combines some of the most well respected Brands in the UK water industry, giving it a rich and diverse history, and immeasurable value that comes from products with proven quality and service. From the acquisition of Edward Barber & Co Ltd (Ebco) in 1998, Tyco has brought together the leading names of Under Pressure Engineering Ltd (UPE), Atlantic Plastics (Atplas), Samuel Booth, Talbot, Erhard UK and Cast Iron Services (CIS).
These were all highly successful companies in their own right, but their acquisition by Tyco allowed investment and growth well beyond that which they would have been able to achieve individually.
From the development of the original ferrule in the early 20th century, to Pushfit technology used in our service fittings, Tyco Waterworks has been at the forefront of product design and innovation in the water industry for decades. With the continued investment and support from Tyco Flow Control, Tyco Waterworks UK is now furthering its R&D in new products, customer services and lean manufacturing to ensure that we can service the ever changing demands of our customers both today and in the long term.

What We Do
Tyco Waterworks UK designs, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of water fittings suitable for all types of water pipe, conveying potable water, from 16mm to over 2metres in diameter.

Manufacturing Excellence
Our manufacturing Centre of Excellence based in Bridgend, South Wales is ISO9001: 2000 accredited. Products are designed and manufactured to conform with Water Industry Standards and British Standards.
We operate in a culture of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to provide efficient and cost effective production to ensure our customers get the highest quality of product and service that is competitively priced.

Service
We service customers around the world from our 2 main distribution centres at Bridgend, South Wales and Hams Hall, Birmingham. Our customers include all the main water companies in the UK as well as water authorities, contractors, wholesalers and distributors in the plumbing and construction industries globally.

Environment
Preserving the environment is an increasingly important element in our decision making at Tyco Waterworks. We strive to minimise packaging and are making significant steps to improve recycling and reduce waste throughout our operations. Over the past 3 years, we have consolidated from 7 sites to just 3, dramatically reducing our carbon footprint and streamlining processes.
